White Sox left-hander Jose Quintana got back on track with a dominant outing on Sunday against the Rockies in Cactus League play.
In his first start after a nine-run meltdown on Tuesday, Quintana yielded one hit and no walks while striking out two over five shutout innings. He forced seven groundball outs.
"Working with more ground balls, changeup was working good," Quintana said, per MLB.com. "[I'll] continue my work and keep the ball down now, and I'm ready for the season."
Quintana has posted a 16.36 ERA and 6:7 K:BB ratio over 11 innings this spring.
