Cubs reliver Kyuji Fujikawa earned his first major-league save Monday.
After Carlos Marmol nearly blew the team's 3-0 lead in the ninth inning, the team turned to James Russell, and then Fujikawa for the save. Fujikawa tossed just 1/3 of an inning, forcing Russell Martin to fly out. Marmol has been on shaky ground in previous seasons, and Fujikawa could receive more opportunities depending on whether Marmol can recover.
