Not gonna lie: This Kyuji Fujikawa guy seems to be the real deal. And judging by Carlos Marmol's seemingly perpetual availability on the trade market, I'd say his ascension to the Cubs' closer role happens sooner than later.
I tried to sneak him through for $1 in our recent mixed-league auction. Colleague Al Melchior, who has been leading the charge on Fujikawa for a while, went the extra dollar to nab him. I wouldn't value Fujikawa over, say, Ernesto Frieri, but I don't see him as any less risky than Bruce Rondon.
