Luis Jimenez hitless in debut

Angels third baseman Luis Jimenez made his major-league debut after being recalled Friday, batting eight and failing to get a hit in three plate appearances against the Astros. The length of time Jimenez sticks around in the majors will likely be determined by the health of Erick Aybar and Alberto Callaspo, but he has started the season off hot in Triple-A.
