Rays pitcher Matt Moore was removed from Monday's start against the Royals after 4 1/3 innings due to an apparent injury.
Moore was visited on the mound by a trainer after grimacing following a pitch, and the team made the decision to take him out. He gave up one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out two. The Rays should have an update on the injury shortly.
