Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud is scheduled to take live batting practice Monday, reports the Daily News.
d'Arnaud has been sidelined since June 20 with an elbow injury. If he continues to progress from the injury, he will likely begin his rehab assignment later this week.
“If he feels good swinging there, he has been swinging off a tee, but if he can do that in live BP for a couple days, the plan is to try to get him in a Gulf Coast League or Florida State League game later this week,” assistant general manager John Ricco said.
