- Hideki Matsui suffered an apparent injury after misplaying a ball in right field Monday against the Yankees. He came out after the first inning, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Tribune reports, and was replaced by Jeff Keppinger.
- Mike Trout is out of Monday's lineup against Cleveland with a jammed pinkie finger, but he should be fine to return soon. X-rays on the finger came back negative, MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez reports.
- Dallas Braden's bullpen session Monday went so good "he wanted to cry," Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Braden hasn't pitched yet in 2012 due to a shoulder injury.
- Brian Roberts is dealing with groin soreness and is not in Monday's lineup, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
