The Padres promoted four players Monday, including an experienced starter in Robbie Erlin, per MLB.com.
Also brought up were infielder Cody Decker and pitchers Jay Jackson and Casey Kelly.
Kelly and Erlin are slated to start at least one game before the regular season concludes. The latter has struggled in 20 major league starts and has yet to pitch for San Diego in 2015.
Decker popped out in his first major league at-bat Monday.
