After signing Cole Hamels to a contract extension, rumors continue to swirl about what the Phillies will do in the days before Tuesday's non-waiver trade deadline.
- The Dodger and Reds remain interested in Victorino, tweeted ESPN's Jim Bowden. However, in any deal, the Phillies, who want bullpen help in return for the center fielder, will have to pay some of what remains on Victorino's $9.5 million salary.
- The Phillies are interested in Cincinnati reliever Logan Ondrusek, and Dodgers reliever Josh Lindblom, Bowden also tweeted.
- Ondrusek, 27, has a 2.70 ERA in 43 games and 36.2 innings with the Reds this season. The right-handed pitcher has allowed 29 hits while striking out 25 batters and walking 19.
- Lindblom, 25, has pitched 45.1 innings this season and has a 3.18 ERA. He's allowed 38 hits and struck out 42 batters.
- Phillies starter Cliff Lee hasn't yet been made formally available, if he will be at all, reported FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi.
- According to executives, the Philies will consider offers for Lee, who has three years and $87.5 million left on his contract, over the next few days.
- Earlier on Wednesday, CBSSports.com's Danny Knobler wrote that it's not out of the question the Phillies deal Lee or Jimmy Rollins.
- The Phillies have luxury tax concerns, meaning they need to shed payroll.
- Lee can block trades to 21 teams.
