Pirates pitcher Gerrit Cole went seven solid innings in Monday evening's 4-3 win over the Phillies.
Cole allowed two earned runs and two walks on six hits. He struck out six batters and now holds a 2.32 ERA. Cole kept his streak alive of not allowing more than three earned runs in a single game in Monday night's game against Philadelphia. He's now done this in all seven of his starts.
It's also the sixth time he's recorded at least six strikeouts.
Cole's next start is projected for Saturday against the Cubs.
