Reds pitcher Jason Marquis gave up four earned runs during Wednesday evening's 7-1 loss to the Royals.
Marquis had yet another poor outing as he was only only able to go 3 2/3 innings. This marked the second appearance in a row that he didn't reach the fifth inning. Marquis has now given up 15 earned runs in his past three games.
Marquis has a 6.91 ERA this season.
His next start is projected for May 26 against the Rockies.
