The Blue Jays will look to upgrade multiple positions this offseason, according to FoxSports.com’s Ken Rosenthal.

According the Rosenthal, the team plans to look for upgrades at second base, left field and in the starting rotation. There’s a good chance the team will not re-sign second baseman Kelly Johnson, creating a need at the position. Shortstop Yunel Escobar is likely gone as well, but the Blue Jays have Adeiny Hechavarria as a replacement.

General manager Alex Anthopoulos admitted that the team is pretty young, and could use some veteran leaders next season. Rosenthal thinks outfielder Torii Hunter could be an ideal fit for the Blue Jays.
