Braves reliever Josh Outman is expected to start the season on the disabled list with a shoulder injury, according to MLB.com. Outman started experiencing soreness in the clavicle region after a late-March outing this spring. He remains without a timetable for return.
Outman, 30, went 4-0 with a 2.86 ERA in 40 relief outings last season between the Indians and the Yankees.
