Several teams, including the Detroit Tigers, are looking at Cubs reliever Carlos Marmol, according to ESPNChicago.com's Bruce Levine.
Levine reports that Marmol will "most likely" be with another team before opening day.
The Tigers and Cubs reportedly discussed a deal for Rick Porcello earlier this offseason, even after the Cubs added four potential rotation candidates.
If Marmol is dealt, offseason acquisition Kyuji Fujikawa would likely move into a ninth-inning role for the Cubs.
Marmol saved 20 games for the Cubs in 2012, posting a 3.42 ERA and 1.52 WHIP with 72 strikeouts and 45 walks in 55 1/3 innings.
