Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada made his first rehab appearance Friday for the Gulf Coast League Mets, his first appearance since May 30. Tejada went 1 for 2 with a double and strikeout.
Tejada is recovering from a quadriceps injury and might not return right to the majors when he is fully recovered from the injury.
