Twins reliever Ryan Pressly told MLB.com Thursday he is ready to pitch again.

Pressly left the first game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Nationals with soreness in the back of his shoulder. He was ready to return Wednesday but was sent home with a strep throat. The right-hander did not pitch Thursday but will be available to pitch Friday, if needed.

"It was weird, I'd start sweating and then I'd start feeling really cold," Pressly said. "It was like, 'I don't like this.' But I feel fine. I'm good to go today."
