Royals catcher Salvador Perez could return to the starting lineup Friday against the Tigers, according to the Kansas City Star.
Perez left Thursday's game with dizziness, but it's not believed to be serious. Manager Ned Yost said Perez will play if he's feeling well Friday. Perez was hit in the head with a pitch while catching, and there was some concern he was dealing with concussion-like issues. The dizziness passed shortly after Perez returned to the locker room.
Perez is hitting .286/.320/.419 in 420 at-bats.
