The Indians signed reliever Scott Atchison to an extension Tuesday, the team announced.
Atchison has agreed to a two-year deal, with 2016 representing a team option. He has been a solid contributor out of the bullpen this season, posting a 2.95 ERA and 6-0 record in 53 games, with 37 strikeouts and nine walks in 55 innings.
