Carroll (3-5) delivered a season-high in strikeouts while tossing at least six scoreless innings for the second time this season. The only hit he allowed Monday was a leadoff single in the third inning, and his two walks came in the sixth and seventh innings. Carroll owns a 4.52 ERA and 31:23 K:BB ratio in 63 2/3 innings. He's scheduled to face the Indians Saturday.
