Tigers infielder Don Kelly had his contract outrighted to Triple-A Toledo, tweeted Brian Britten, director of media relations for the club. Kelly was designated for assignment last week, has cleared waivers and is no longer on Detroit's 40-man roster.
In 64 games and 103 ABs with the Tigers this season, Kelly hit .175/.267/.243, with a home run and seven RBI. In 351 career games, all but 25 with the Tigers, Kelly has a career .627 OPS.
