CBSSports.com Insider Danny Knobler reports that Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera, who left the field bloodied on Monday after taking a hard groundball off his eye, is undergoing a CT scan to determine the severity of his injuries.
Cabrera, who's one of the best pure hitters in the game, is in the midst of transitioning back to his old position in order to accommodate new Detroit first basemanPrince Fielder .
