The Tigers have sent down Danny Worth after Sunday’s game, according to the team’s official Twitter feed.
Worth was recalled earlier on Sunday, after Ryan Raburn was put on the disabled list. His call-up lasted just one game. Worth started at second for the Tigers, and went 0-3, with a walk and a strikeout.
In 83 plate appearances this season, Worth has hit .206/.321/.250 with the Tigers. Worth has been shuttled between Toledo and Detroit a number of times this season. The Tigers have recalled Worth at least four different times this season.
