I know that Kyrie Irving hasn't been in the NBA a very long time, but I think it's become pretty well established in his brief career that he is a killer in the clutch. He's measured out as one of the best fourth quarter scorers in the NBA and you have to know that when the game is tied and the Cavs have the ball, you don't let him beat you.
Let Dion Waiters beat you. Let Daniel Gibson beat you. Let Craig Ehlo beat you. You do NOT let Kyrie Irving beat you. And yet the Bobcats left Jeff Taylor out on Kyrie Island and never gave him a life preserver.
Kyrie ended the game instead of having to negotiate a double team. Irving had 16 of the Cavs' 20 fourth quarter points. Good work, Charlotte. You really Bobcats'd that up.
