White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu launched his second home run of the season Tuesday night against Cleveland.
Abreu took Nick Hagadone deep for a solo home run in the fifth inning for his only hit of the night. He finished 1 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI in a 4-1 victory.
"Once they got the one run and Jose ends up hitting a home run and getting us back to three, that was a big run for us," manager Robin Ventura said, per ESPN.
Abreu has three hits over his last eight at-bats. He is slashing .240/.321/.560 with two homers and two RBI over his first 25 at-bats.
