Indians catcher Yan Gomes slugged his sixth home run Wednesday against the Yankees in a losing effort.

The home run, a two-run shot off CC Sabathia, was Gomes's only hit. He hasn't shown much patience in Cleveland (.302 OBP), but he hasn't had to: his slugging percentage is a massive .610, and it's time to wonder if Cleveland will start getting creative to get his bat in the lineup.
