Yankees first baseman/outfielder Garrett Jones homered during a 3-1 win Wednesday against the Angels. He hit a solo home run off Matt Shoemaker in the sixth inning, giving New York a 2-0 lead.
Since June 1, Jones is batting .231 (12 for 52) with one double, four home runs, 10 RBI, six runs, four walks and 10 strikeouts in his last 21 games (11 starts). He has five home runs this season.
