Orioles' Todd Redmond: Released Saturday
Redmond was released from his minor league contract Saturday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
Redmond has been shelled at Norfolk this season to the tune of 15 earned runs in two starts spanning a total of 5.0 innings. His release figures to open a spot in the Triple-A rotation for a younger, more promising arm.

Orioles' Todd Redmond: Reassigned to minor league camp
Redmond was reassigned to minor league camp Friday, MASN Sports reports.
Redmond was a non-roster invitee to spring training this season. He allowed six runs on 12 hits with two walks and six strikeouts in 9.2 innings. Redmond could find a spot on the Triple-A roster, but there are likely several pitchers ahead of him on the depth chart if the Orioles need to make a promotion.

Orioles' Todd Redmond: Signs minor league deal with Orioles
Redmond signed a minor league contract with the Orioles on Tuesday, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.
The veteran righty's contract comes with an invite to spring training. He has a 4.81 ERA in 76.2 innings as a starter and a 3.80 ERA in 94.2 innings as a reliever. At 30 years old, the ship has probably sailed on him making it as a starter, so he will look to offer organizational bullpen depth for Baltimore.

Todd Redmond: Will become free agent
Redmond will elect to become a free agent, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Redmond bounced between Triple-A and the Blue Jays' 40-man roster multiple times this season, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Redmond will look to catch on with another team this offseason. He will likely file in as bullpen depth for a club in 2016, but the lack of high-leverage opportunities will surely extinguish much of his fantasy value.
