AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell15D agoSalt in the wound, I know. But the 2024 Padres believed they could win the WS. That's why NLDS Game 5 stung so much. Seeing the LA breeze through this field -- the path SD could've had -- clearly, they weren't wrong. They had the Dodgers on the ropes. No one else has come close.
