Samuel Deduno: Released by Orioles
Deduno was reinstated from the DL at Triple-A Norfolk and subsequently released.
Deduno signed on with the Orioles back in February and had spent the entire season, to date, in the minors. The right-hander posted a 6.86 ERA across 21.0 innings of work for Houston last season, but at this point it appears doubtful that he'll find his way back to the majors in 2016.

Orioles' Samuel Deduno: Agrees to minor league contract with Orioles
Deduno agreed to a minor league contract with the Orioles, Baseball America reports.
Deduno pitched at both the Triple-A and major league level last season, but didn't see much success at either stop. He also was forced to have hip surgery, which led the Astros to outright him off the 40-man roster. The right-hander will hope to get back to his 2013 form, when he posted a 3.83 ERA in 18 starts with the Twins.

Astros' Samuel Deduno: Outrighted by Astros
Deduno (hip) was outrighted off the Astros' 40-man roster Tuesday.
The 32-year-old made just nine appearances (two starts) in 2015 before succumbing to a season-ending hip injury, allowing 16 runs with a 17:9 K:BB in 21 innings. He was always a long-shot to maintain his 40-man spot through the Rule 5 roster deadline.
