Ondrusek and the Orioles are in wait-and-see mode with his sore elbow. Although the injury (suffered in Monday's game against the Tigers) wasn't thought to be serious, the right-hander's recovery has drawn apprehension. Speaking about his elbow, Ondrusek said, "It's never good to have any kind of pain or any kind of soreness or anything like that there, but until further things are done and as soon as we take more time and see what's going on, you start to think a little more about it." An injury concern is the last thing Ondrusek can afford as he battles for an MLB roster spot.

The Orioles don't view the issue as anything serious, but Ondrusek will be held out of baseball activities for a day or two in hopes that the discomfort subsides. The 34-year-old made his spring training debut Friday, surrendering a hit and recording a strikeout across one scoreless inning.
