Andy Oliver: Released by Brewers
Oliver was released by the Brewers on Wednesday, Jim Goulart of Brewerfan.net reports.
Oliver has had a rough season at Triple-A Colorado Springs in his first year with the organization, racking up a 7.59 ERA and a 20:15 K:BB over 21.1 innings in relief. The southpaw showed signs of promise last season with the Orioles' Triple-A affiliate, posting a 3.43 ERA in 14 starts, but he will look to latch on elsewhere in hopes of continuing his career.

Brewers' Andrew Oliver: Signs minor league deal with Brewers
Oliver signed a minor league contract with the Brewers on Thursday that includes an invitation to spring training.
The 29-year-old southpaw has bounced around in recent seasons, most recently making 28 appearances (14 starts) with the Orioles' Triple-A affiliate. He should serve as organizational depth for the Brewers in 2017.

Orioles' Andrew Oliver: Re-signs with Baltimore
Oliver re-signed a minor league deal with the Orioles on Wednesday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Oliver had opted out of his deal with Triple-A Norfolk earlier in June, but he'll return to the organization less than two weeks later. The lefty worked to a solid 2.08 ERA with 34 strikeouts in 34.2 innings and figures to return to the Triple-A level.

Orioles' Andrew Oliver: Opts out of Triple-A contract
Oliver opted out of his deal with Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, the Baltimore Sun's Jon Meoli reports.
Oliver had a 2.08 ERA in 34.2 innings at Triple-A, but he was probably a bit tired of posting solid minor league numbers and not getting promoted to the big leagues since joining the organization in 2015. He will try to latch on elsewhere.

Orioles' Andrew Oliver: Cut from MLB camp
Oliver was cut from major league camp Saturday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
As a result, Oliver, who was a non-roster invitee, will likely begin the season at Triple-A, where he spent the bulk of the 2015 campaign, splitting the season between the Orioles and Rays organizations. In 16 appearances for Baltimore's Triple-A affiliate, Oliver registered a 3.72 ERA and 1.345 WHIP across 29 cumulative innings.

Orioles' Andrew Oliver: Gets spring training invite
Oliver will join the Orioles during spring training as a non-roster invitee.
Oliver split the 2015 campaign between the Rays and Orioles organizations, performing relatively well for the teams' respective Triple-A affiliates. It appears the Orioles were impressed enough to offer Oliver another minors deal that includes an invitation to spring training, where he'll face an uphill battle to earn an Opening Day roster spot.
