Orioles' Nate Adcock: Agrees to minor league contract with Orioles on Monday
Adcock (elbow) agreed to a minor league contract with the Orioles on Monday, Baseball America reports
Adcock split time between Triple-A and the majors in the Reds organization. He pitched well in the minors, posting a solid 2.96 ERA with Triple-A Louisville, but was hit hard in the majors, as evidenced by his 6.00 ERA with the Reds. The 28-year-old is coming off Tommy John surgery in August, so he won't be available to pitch for most (if not all) of the 2016 season.
