Wall was released by the White Sox on Monday, Baseball America reports.
Wall has never been great outside of the minor leagues, and it appears that the White Sox weren't willing to give him another look after he gave up five runs in four innings during spring training. The right-hander's best bet in free agency is to sign a minor league deal with a team in need of organizational pitching depth.

White Sox's Josh Wall: Signs with White Sox
Wall agreed to a minor league deal with the White Sox that includes an invite to spring training, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
Wall had a brief stint in the majors last season but didn't appear in a game there, though he had some success at the Triple-A level to the tune of a 2.45 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 36.2 innings. The 29-year-old figures to serve as organizational bullpen depth and will likely begin the year in the minors.
