Partch was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday.
Partch's latest stint with the big club lasted just three days, as he heads back to the Indianapolis. He's been very solid at the Triple-A level this season, where he owns a 2.05 ERA and 27.6-percent K rate. If the Pirates need additional bullpen depth later in the season, it's quite possible that Partch will get the nod to return to the show.

Partch was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday.
Partch's second stint in the majors this season lasted only three days as he will now head back to Triple-A ball as Chad Kuhl gets recalled in a corresponding roster move. Partch tossed 0.2 scoreless frames in an appearance in Sunday's game against Cincinnati and figures to remain with Triple-A Indianapolis the rest of the season unless the Pirates are in need of bullpen depth.

Partch was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Travis Sawchik of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
Partch was designated for assignment back in June but will get the promotion to fill the roster spot of Arquimedes Caminero, who was traded to the Mariners on Saturday. Partch has been a reliable reliever with Pittsburgh's Triple-A affiliate, compiling a 2.05 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over 48.1 innings, and will provide depth to the Pirates' bullpen.

A 40-man roster spot was needed for starting pitcher Chad Kuhl, who is set to take the mound Sunday against the Dodgers, so Partch ended up being the casualty due to his status as a 29-year-old reliever with only a handful of MLB appearances on his resume. Partch has been a standout at Triple-A Indianapolis this season, sporting a 1.29 ERA and 0.97 WHIP while striking out 37 batters in 35 innings, which might be enough to entice another organization to grab him off waivers.

Pirates' Curtis Partch: Sent back down to Triple-A
Partch has been sent back to Triple-A Indianapolis as the Pirates have called up pitcher Wilfredo Boscan, Stephen Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Partch, who pitched in relief Sunday, failed to record an out while giving up three earned runs to the Cubs. The 29-year-old right-hander owns a career 5.64 ERA in 30.1 MLB innings, spending time with both the Reds and the Pirates. Partch will head back to Triple-A Indianapolis where he owns a 1.36 ERA on the season with 37 strikeouts in 33 innings.

Pirates' Curtis Partch: Recalled by Pirates
Partch was recalled by the Pirates on Saturday, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune reports.
The Pirates had a roster shakeup prior to Saturday's game, recalling Partch, Jason Rogers, and Jorge Rondon. Partch has not pitched in the major leagues since 2014, but he has put together a strong season as a reliever at Triple-A Indianapolis in 2016 with a 1.36 ERA across 33 innings. He'll serve as a hard-throwing righty out of the Pirates pen.

Pirates' Curtis Partch: Optioned to Triple-A Wednesday
Partch was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday.
Partch was only with the Pirates for four days and didn't appear in a game, and the right-hander will now head back to Triple-A while Jameson Taillon comes up to start Wednesday's game against the Mets. Partch has an impressive 1.30 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in 18 relief appearances at Triple-A this season and could become a factor at the MLB level later in the year.

Partch was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Stephen Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Partch, who will join the Pirates' roster for the first time this season, hasn't appeared in a major league game since 2014 as a member of the Reds. The right-hander fared well with Indianapolis, compiling a 1.30 ERA and allowing just 16 hits and four earned runs over 27.2 innings. Pittsburgh also recalled Cory Luebke on Saturday and optioned both Rob Scahill and Wilfredo Boscan to Indianapolis.

Pirates' Curtis Partch: Allows one earned run
Partch pitched two innings Tuesday against Toledo, giving up one earned run and two hits while striking out two opposing batters.
Partch has only pitched 30.1 innings during the course of his major-league career, with the last appearance coming in 2014 for the Reds. He spent all of last season with Triple-A Sacramento in the Giants organization. Partch posted a 3.53 ERA with a 1.35 WHIP during 63.2 innings in 2015, and compiled an impressive 81 strikeouts to 26 walks. Partch will begin this season with Triple-A Indianapolis. It is unlikely that he will come up to the majors and be a valid fantasy contributor barring significant injuries.
