Nationals' Juan Hillman: Inks MiLB deal with Washington
Hillman signed a minor-league contract with the Nationals on Tuesday.
It does not carry an invitation to the major-league side of spring training, but Hillman could be a factor with the Nats at some point in 2023 as he moves further and further away from Tommy John surgery. A second-round pick by Cleveland in 2015, the lefty posted a 3.94 ERA in 109.2 innings between Double-Akron and Triple-A Columbus in 2021.
