Twins' Alex Scherff: Traded to Minnesota
Scherff was traded from the Red Sox to the Twins on Friday in exchange for reliever Hansel Robles.
Scherff recorded a 2.45 ERA and 14.1 K/9 between stops at High-A and Double-A this season. The 23-year-old right-hander will likely continue to work out of the bullpen as he moves on to the Minnesota organization.
