The Padres recalled Lockridge from Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.
Ten days after earning a spot on the Padres' 40-man, Lockridge will now join the big club, replacing Luis Campusano on the active roster. Lockridge has slashed .328/.431/.426 with 13 RBI across 144 plate appearances with El Paso since joining the organization ahead of the trade deadline, and he'll be making his MLB debut whenever he gets into a game.

The Padres selected Lockridge to the 40-man roster and optioned him to Triple-A El Paso on Sunday.
The right-hander was acquired from the Yankees ahead of the summer trade deadline and is now positioned to make his MLB debut during the final month of the campaign. Lockridge has an .811 OPS with nine home runs in 25 games for El Paso since being acquired by the Padres.

The Padres acquired Lockridge from the Yankees on Tuesday in exchange for reliever Enyel De Los Santos and minor-league Thomas Balboni.
Lockridge was a fifth-pick in the 2018 First-Year Player Draft and is hitting .295 with 34 stolen bases in 72 games at the Triple-A level this season. The 27-year-old doesn't offer much power, as he has no homers and just 17 extra-base hits.
