John Doxakis: Let go by Cleveland
The Guardians released Doxakis on Tuesday.
After spending four seasons in the Rays' farm system, Doxakis latched on with the Guardians this winter in the minor-league Rule 5 Draft. The 25-year-old had been pitching for Cleveland's Triple-A affiliate in Columbus and logged a 7.26 ERA over 31.0 innings.
