Justin Gaethje is at the tail end of his fighting career at age 37, but that doesn't mean he's ready for retirement quite yet. Gaethje is 26-5 over his career, and he's won three of his last four fights, most recently defeating Rafael Fiziev via unanimous decision at UFC 313 in March. He lost his only fight in 2024, coming to Max Holloway, but defeated Dustin Poirier and Fiziev for the first time in 2023. While Gaethje has made a career against big-name fighters, he's now arguably the biggest name the 31-year-old Paddy Pimblett has fought yet. Pimblett is 7-0 in the UFC and 23-3 professionally. He most recently defeated Michael Chandler by TKO at UFC 314 in April.

The first UFC card on Paramount+ also features one of the legends of the sport in Derrick Lewis squaring off in the octagon against Waldo Cortes-Acosta, the No. 5-ranked heavyweight. Lewis, 40, is 29-12 all-time and most recently defeated Tallison Teixeira by TKO 35 seconds into a UFC Fight Night event in July. However, the 34-year-old, 6-foot-4 Cortes-Acosta brings a significantly tougher challenge and an 18-2 career record. He's coming off back-to-back first-round TKO knockouts in November, taking fights 21 days apart.

For UFC betting, Pimblett is a -238 favorite, with Gaethje at +195 odds in the latest UFC 324 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook for the main event. For method of victory betting, Pimblett is +125 to win via submission, which three of his seven career UFC wins have come by. He's +350 to win by KO/TKO/DQ and +550 to win by decision. Gaethje is +400 to win by KO/TKO/DQ and +550 to win by decision. Lewis is a +275 underdog, with Cortes-Acosta a -345 favorite for their bout.
