The 2024 Austrian Grand Prix will be held at Red Bull Ring on Sunday with the green flag scheduled to drop at 9 a.m. ET. One surprise: The model is fading Oscar Piastri, predicting that he barely cracks the top 10 to earn points for his team. McLaren spent 18 months on design changes that it wasn't able to implement until May and they've yielded impressive results. Lando Norris scored his first victory in Miami and has finished second in three of the four races since while Piastri was fourth at Monza when he finally received the updates and the second at Monaco.
However, while Norris continues to challenge Verstappen for wins, Piastri has started to fall off with Mercedes making improvement and Ferrari rebounding from a disastrous run in Montreal. Piastri followed up his podium in Monaco with a fifth-place finish where he was beaten by both Mercedes in Canada and then finished seventh in Spain, where he was beaten by all four of the drivers from Ferrari and Mercedes.
