Reaume Brothers Racing announced Tuesday it has tabbed Frankie Muniz as the full-time driver of its No. 33 Ford for the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. Muniz, who has transitioned from his acting career to racing stock cars over the past several years, earns his first full-time NASCAR ride after competing in ARCA as well as select starts in NASCAR's national touring series over the past two seasons.

Muniz joined Reaume Brothers Racing for a limited Truck Series schedule earlier this year and will make his third start of the season this weekend at Homestead-Miami after previously competing at Nashville and Kansas. He has also picked up sponsorship, as More Core Diamond Drilling Services & Nugget Trap will serve as Muniz's primary sponsor for 10 of the 25 races on the schedule next season.

"I'm incredibly excited to join Reaume Brothers Racing full-time in 2025," Muniz said in a team press release. "My longstanding relationship with Ford has been a game-changer, and I am thrilled to help facilitate additional support allowing us to tap into their exceptional technical and engineering resources. I'm confident that this synergy will elevate Reaume Brothers Racing and help us achieve great things together. I can't wait to get started."

After previously pursuing a career in open wheel racing following the height of his acting fame as the star of "Malcolm in the Middle," Muniz has pursued a path toward racing in NASCAR over the past several years, first racing late model stocks on the West Coast before racing full-time in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023. Muniz earned one top five and 11 top 10s on his way to finishing fourth in points before racing part-time across ARCA, NASCAR Trucks and the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024. His best finish this season is a ninth-place run in ARCA competition at Talladega.

Prior to the 2023 season, Muniz had spoken to CBS Sports about his goals in racing, specifically pursuing a career in NASCAR in his late 30s and also after achieving great fame and success as an actor and former child star.

"I've been an actor, I've raced cars in the past, I was a drummer, I owned a bunch of businesses, owned an olive oil company. I've done a lot of things. But in that sense, I am choosing to be here right now," Muniz said at the time. "I want this, and I'm gonna work really, really hard for it."

Muniz will take over the No. 33 truck that is currently driven by Lawless Alan, whose best finish of the season came when he ran fifth in the most recent Truck Series race at Talladega.
