We have passed an important point in the draft calendar as players have made their decisions on whether to stay in college or test the waters of the NBA Draft. The deadline for underclassmen to make themselves available for the 2020 NBA Draft passed at 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday night.

In total, 163 NCAA players declared for the draft this year, down from 175 last year and 181 the year before. Players have until June 3 at 5 p.m. ET to withdraw from the draft and retain their eligibility, though that date may be flexible. In previous years, that date has been set 10 days removed from the NBA Draft Combine, which this year appears to be in peril due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It's unclear if the pandemic pushed more players to return to the safety college athletics can provide, but the truncated draft process has certainly been a deterrent for some. With in-person interviews and workouts banned by the NBA indefinitely, prospects are stuck trying to improve their stock with little opportunity to do so, and scouts and teams stuck sorting through old film to try and sort through this year's class.

Below is the updated entry list for this year's college class, which will be updated as players decide whether to stay in the draft or return to school.

International declarations

On the international side this year, 42 prospects made themselves available, the lowest number of entries since 2014, when 30 declared for the draft and down from 58 a year ago. Leading the draft class from the international crop of entrants is Israel forward Deni Avdija and point guard Killian Hayes, who have emerged as top-10 talents in this year's class. Former stateside star prospects LaMelo Ball and RJ Hampton, who played last season in the NBL, are also eligible and expected to be first round picks.
