Senior Blogger Matt Moore joins me today to react to the first night of the 2012-13 NBA season. With the Lakers loss, the Celtics and Heat pushing each other, and the Cavs win, there's plenty of real-game action to talk about.
We start off with the Lakers and wonder if it's time to panic or laugh at those panicking. The Lakers looked bad, but should they really worry? What tweaks need to be made? Is Mike Brown already in trouble? And how about the performance by the Mavericks?
After that, we disagree on the Celtics' performance and look to what they might need to do to adjust. Was all of the preseason hype just hype? Is there any substance to what they've set up?
And how about Kyrie Irving and Anderson Varejao for the Cavs? Should they be a packaged pair?
We then get into previewing tonight's schedule and talk a bit about contract extensions.
