Trail Blazers center Joel Freeland was able to take part in practice in a limited fashion Wednesday, according to the team's digital reporter.
Freeland suffered a partial tear of his rotator cuff on Jan. 3 and has been sidelined ever since. He's an unlikely bet to suit up Friday but may be able to make his return before the end of the month. Freeland has averaged 3.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 31 games.
