Hawks small forward Cartier Martin scored a point per minute Wednesday in the season-opening loss at Dallas. Martin played 17 minutes off the bench and scored 17 points for Atlanta.
Martin shot 4 of 8 from the field, including 3 for 7 from 3-point range, and added 6 for 6 from the line to score his 17 points. He grabbed two rebounds and added a steal and an assist. Martin also committed three personal fouls during his limited minutes off the bench.
