Monday NBA betting preview

Monday features a four-game NBA slate, including the Los Angeles Clippers hosting the Philadelphia 76ers at 10 p.m. ET. James Harden, who spent parts of two seasons with the 76ers before being traded to the Clippers prior to the 2023-24 season, sat Sunday night for personal reasons, which means if he plays Monday, he'll be rested rather than coming off a back-to-back. 76ers (27-21) big man Joel Embiid (knee) is probable for the 76ers as they play without Paul George, who was hit with a 25-game suspension on Saturday for violating the NBA's anti-drug policy. The Clippers defeated the Suns, 117-93, on Sunday to improve to 23-25.

Embiid is coming off a 40-point performance against the Pelicans on Saturday, as he's scored at least 30 points in six of his last seven games. The 76ers are 5-2 over that span.
