Under the direction of newly hired team president and coach Stan Van Gundy, the Pistons' roster is starting to make a little more sense.
Unfortunately, the quagmire in the frontcourt is still in place, though Greg Monroe's long-term fate is still in some doubt. Jodie Meeks might make more sense as an instant-offense option off the bench, but the starting five also desperately needs a dose of his sharpshooting, so that could be his home.
Even if he ends up starting, there likely won't be many shots to go around for Meeks, who needed a big role in the Lakers' fast-pace, anything-goes offense to approach Fantasy relevance a year ago.
Beyond the starting five, there likely isn't much worth getting exciting about here.
