UPDATE: The league announced late Wednesday that Robinson has been suspended two games for the elbow, meaning he'll miss games Friday against the Spurs and Sunday against the Lakers.

Rookies often make bad decisions. And Thomas Robinson made a really bad one Wednesday night against the Pistons.
Early in the fourth quarter, the Kings forward was ejected for throwing a nasty elbow to the throat of Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko. The foul was immediately called a Flagrant 2, and Robinson was tossed.
After remaining on the floor for a few moments, Jerebko was able to get up and appeared to be fine.
Robinson, obviously recognizing his mistake, took to Twitter to apologize following the game:
Apologize for my actions mistakes happen I take full responsibility lost my cool will never happen again !

It's very likely Robinson will be receiving further discliplinary action from the league. For a reference point, Metta World Peace was suspended seven games for this elbow to James Harden last season. And World Peace was a repeat offender. So a game or two sounds about right for Robinson.
