FINAL: Knicks 124 -- Spurs 113
The New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 124-113, in the 2025 NBA Cup championship game in Las Vegas on Tuesday to claim their first trophy since they won the 1973 NBA championship. The Knicks trailed by as many as 11 in the second half, but dominated the fourth quarter and pulled away down the stretch.
OG Anunoby, who hit a clutch 3-pointer from the corner with less than two minutes to play that essentially sealed the game, finished with 28 points, eight rebounds and three assists to lead the way for the Knicks. The NBA Cup championship does not count as a regular season game, but if it did, Anunoby's 28 points and five 3-pointers would both be season-highs.
While Jalen Brunson did not have his best shooting night, he added 25 points and seven assists, while Tyler Kolek and Mitchell Robinson both delivered off the bench. Kolek put up 14 points, five rebounds and five assists in one of the best games of his young career, while Robinson grabbed 15 rebounds, including 10 of the offensive variety, which helped swing the game in the Knicks' favor.
