From Lakers.com reporter Mike Trudell:
Mike Brown also told reporters that Sunday's game against Dallas is uncertain as far as Bryant goes, due to the painful shin injury he's dealt with over the past week.Kobe Bryant is OUT again tonight vs Denver. He continues to improve, but not yet ready to play.

The Lakers have been inconsistent without Bryant, but just took out the Spurs Wednesday night in a beating as Andrew Bynum logged 30 rebounds, 19 in the first half. The Lakers just have to tread water for the next two weeks until the playofs arrive, as their seeding is in a good position for a favorable matchup. Gettig Bryant some rest after he lead the league in minutes this season (!) is probably a good idea. If the injury holds him out another week, yeah, there might be some concern. But for right now, no big deal and a chance to see a Bynum-lead team that has Metta World Peace flourishing without Bryant.
